So my final full day in Bali, and the reason I was here for - to be a witness at my Sisters Wedding.  Whilst the Mothers went off for beauty treatments and all sorts, the chaps were all left to our own devices, which suited everyone.  I went for a walk around Seminyak with my Dad, and proved to him not everyone selling something is a hassle.  I think he had fun haggling too.  Shame it was for a Bintang T-Shirt though.

I then went into Kuta for the final time, bought a bit more of tat for Helen / my house, and enjoyed an Ice Cream whilst watching Surfers on Kuta Beach, which for the first time that week actually had a decent swell.

Back to the Hotel at midday to get ready, which involved very little work on my part.  It being a tropical wedding, I opted for a brown checkered shirt, beige trousers and flip flops.  And Sunglasses.  I wish all weddings were like this.

On the way down to Tirtha Uluwatu, a private resort where the wedding was being held, we headed to my Sisters old hotel to pick up a few of her Aussie mates, who until then had been on Java surfing.  Ten minutes later we were at the resort, which was probably the most luxurious thing I've ever seen.  I realise I don't do luxury, but this place blew me away.  Again, I'll let the photos do it justice.

A few drinks, a few photos, a bit of mingling with the guests and it was soon time to shift it into the Chapel.  Made of glass, looking out onto the Indian Ocean, surrounded by shallow pools.  Beats Medway Reigistry office eh?

Wedding was very good.  The singers were amazingly talented, and managed to shut everyone up, which was some achievement.  Both Carrieann and Andy looked amazing.  Ceremony wasn't too long, no hymns to sing and I didn't stack it when I signed the register.  All in all, a great time.  Again, check the photos.

After a few more drinks and photo shoots, we retired to a 6 course traditional Indonesian meal.  I'll admit I was laughing my arse off when my Brother and Aunt saw the menu.  If you ever thought I was fussy, you've seen nothing like them.  I should point out that I ate all of my food.  It was yummy.

Background music was chosen by the couple, and I have to admit I've never been to a wedding reception that played Rancid as we ate - awesome stuff!

We eventually headed to the Inter-Continental Hotel in Jimbaran Bay, a huge 5* hotel that the newlyweds had booked into for a few days.  It was mammoth, very plush and a nice place to wind down for a few hours.

With it getting late, Taxi's were called and goodbyes said - myself and a few of the Aussies would be off the next day.  Our Taxi went the wrong way in Kuta and we ended up sitting in traffic outside the clubs, which at 1am were just getting going.  I really wanted to end the night in Paddy's again, but with no takers and an early morning, I bottled out of it and said a sad goodbye to Kuta.
