This morning started out well with breakfast consisting of dunkin donuts, oatmeal, croissants and coffee. We just had to try the pumpkin donuts - recommended by Mark Sanders and I agree they are amazing - check out the photo of the dozen!! - although I only ate one. Then it was off to see Chad and Casey (Chad's Sister) finish the Empire State half Marathon. Even though it was a chilly day Chad finished in a very good time 2:07:33. There were some strange people running in the marathon which included a guy in a kilt running in flip flops! That's Americans for you.

We then travelled to Waterloo outlets, some 40 miles west of Syracuse to do some more shopping. We got quite a few bargains. We then travelled back and stopped of at a Target store which sells pretty much everything and picked up some goodies. They had loads of Candy, mainly due to it being halloween and we picked up some of our favourites like Reece's peanut butter cups and fudge covered Oreos.

After a brief visit back to janes and Eric's to get changed we headed out for dinner. We planned on going to Dinosaur BBQ with Emma, Chad and the kids but when we arrived there was a 45 minute wait. So Plan B went into effect and we decided to eat at the Spaghetti Warehouse. This place has awesome food and I went for the Lasagne platter which had lasagne (of course) 2 meatballs an Italian sausage and garlic bread, all in the shape of a smiley face (see photo). To make it a little more surreal our table was inside a huge metal 4 poster bed frame! Let me also state that before the main course we had bread, starters and also soup!.... And then we had dessert. I see this more as training for the 2 possible challenges coming up (yes you read that right, 2 challenges!)

The 1st challenge is a hot wings challenge on Friday at a place called Quaker Steak and Lube (don't ask why) the second is yet to be determined but could be in Boston from man V food. Chad who loves spicy hot foods has completed this challenge but says it was hard even for him! If you complete the challenge you get your picture on the wall, so the challenge has been set!

Next stop is over the border into Canada to see the second biggest waterfall in the world, Niagara Falls.

You certainly have your work cut out getting through those deserts, they do look amazing! Sounds outstanding that you have sourced and are preparing to take on 2 food challenges, but with the sizzle of the hot foods it's probably worth dipping your ring into Niagara Falls!

Good work Chad for getting the marathon done in such a short time, I feel like a lie down just thinking about it!
