Last night we stayed over at Emma and Chads house. On today's agenda was the nail spa for Tina and Emma at a nearby town called Skaneateles. Me, Chad, Emmy, Liv and Dylan went to the mall for Karting at Pole position. Here they use electric karts that can go 0 - 40 mph in 3 seconds. On our first run my time was 26.8 then my second run time was 24.9 nearly a two second improvement. I'm sure I could have gone quicker but for some fools who kept crashing!!

We had lunch at a restaurant called Toby Keith's ( for those who don't know, Toby Keith is country and Western singer) the place itself is huge with screens everywhere showing sports and the waitresses dress similar to those in Hooters. On the food front it's the usual burgers, steaks and ribs, but I had a steak sandwich and Emmy had a chicken wrap.

Another entertainment venue at the mall is Dave and Busters which is part restaurant and part arcade. We just went to play and get as many tickets as possible. We managed to collect about 750 tickets with a $20 spend, which when redeemed would get you a small stuffed toy or a football!!

Meanwhile Tina and Emma were getting their nails done at a place in Skaneateles about 15 miles away. They had lunch at the Sherwood inn where Emma used to work a few years ago and met up with some of her old work friends. Although no reservations had been made they managed to get them a great table in the busy restaurant. Tina had a posh looking lobster stuffed croissant and fries while overlooking the lake. They had a great time and of course they did a bit of shopping in the gift shops.

We all ended up back at Emma and Chads place where they cooked us some steak and sweet potatoes followed by some superb pumpkin pie and some more pumpkin ale!! Chad is running a half marathon tomorrow so we got an early night.

Another good day at the shopping mall with a bit of karting on the side. Great improvement on the lap times as well, but I guess you must have been busy looking for the EZ toll rather than avoiding the crashes. Are you sure they were real crashes though Sid or do you think they might have been staged to provide a little distraction?

Good luck Chad on running the half marathon tomorrow - hope the Pumkin Ale provides the boast required to get over the line!

Toby Keith sounds like an absolute legend. We need one over here! Good luck tomorrow Chad!
