I had done alot of driving over the past few days and needed a chance to stop and recharge... we were still close to the surf beaches of Newquay and ofcourse I was keen for another surf so we headed there for the night and have a surf in the morning. It was also time to fill up the water tank in the van so that meant a real camp ground.

I was too buggered to go to the supermarket just outside of the campground so we capitulated to the overpriced rubbish being sold in the onsite mini-market...awful doughy pizzas were best we could do :(

Next we needed to wash our clothes so we took our stuff to the onsite Laundry and nearly fell over when we worked our it would cost over 14 to wash and dry our stuff. Not going to happen! The laundromat in town must be cheaper
we will leave that till tomorrow!

I had 2 long and enjoyable surfs the next day. Our hunch on the town laundry proved correct but not by much (10.50) That evening we decided to have a wee drink in town for something different. The different part being we were not drinking in scooby we were drinking out in public. To my surprise Kim suggested we check out the Newquay Walkabout (she normaly hates walkies... either the couple of pints or the lack of mental exercise has made her brain soft). Anyway we had another beer there. The best thing about the place is the view of the beach and the free wifi. We both lost our heads and ordered food which was edible but nothing to get excited about and then watched the free movie they put on the big screen.
