So we got up fairly early after a disturbed sleep... seems we parked opposite the university student accomodation. So there was a fair bit of foot traffic going by during the night. Having said that I remember my Uni days and i can safely say that I was a LOT rowdier.

Out for a run around the town and up the surounding hills to check out the town and get some execise - got to say it is a great way to get to know a town - early morning run through the town center and outskirts. Found a lovely stream to jog along through town and past the the cricket pitch. Stumbled upon the Bishop Wolverslys Manor at the end of the run only to discover that we were parked almost next to it.

Back at the van we discovered that we were out of water (something I should of checked before leaving london) and so no Shower was possible for our sweaty bodies :(
We had water in 5L bottles so we made do with a sponge down - not ideal in the cold :(

Minor disaster behind us we went for a potter around this pretty village. I have since discoverd that I didn't take really any photos which do the place justice. But what I can say is that this place is much more to it that a Cathederal.

Late afternoon we headed on to Sailbury. Arrived just before sun set and again found a park a few streets away from the centre of town. We parked out the front of an old peoples home and the old woman in the nearest room to our van was none too happy with our presence...pacing up and down by her window for over an hour on the phone whinging to god knows who... but hey what could she do it was sunday night!! We sat there drinking wine waving to her. She was not impressed and eventually closed her curtains and left us in peace.
