Nice was another overnight stay, but well worth the stop-over. It's an exceedingly beautiful City, and unlike Barcelona I actually had a chance to spend some time on the beach there - even if it was pebbles! You can climb up the top of a big hill, for one of the most amazing views I've seen in all of Europe.

As an Australian, one thing that I thought was really cool was the single gumtree that's been planted at one of the highest points!

Nice was definitely one of the most expensive places we've stayed at too. We had a Vietnamese meal, which cost a little over 50 Euros. The same meal would have probably cost about 30 Euros anywhere else.
