Is that what I am seeing? It's a mirage... no, it's an oasis... no... by God, it's the PACIFIC OCEAN! I am definitely sh*tting in my shorts. Been so long since I saw the Pac Ocean in San Francisco... however this is the first time that I've seen and touched Pacific Ocean in the southern hemisphere, correct me if I am wrong. The ocean looks the same but in smaller waves than the nothern part.

Anyway, La Serena, a beachy and tranquil town, kinda upscale and a bit touristy in certain spots. Finally, a woman just passed by and I gave a silent whistle. I haven't seen a pretty one since Peru and Bolivia and northern Chile, I'm afraid so. These northern chilean towns got one thing in common - a mega mall! Only one mall for everything in each town. So american, ugh.

Oh sh*t, I swore that I saw the real LUIGI (Mario's brother in these games). He was wearing an overall, the right body frame, the perfect mustache, black hair, dark-skinned, the right age, the can't miss the cap... I found him, at last. So, for the record, Luigi resides in La Serena, Chile.

World astrolgers usually fly to La Serena to glimpse in the heart of the universe inside the world famous observatories. It's a costly fee of $10K, just to look in the telescope. In fact, one Japanese guy flew in for one day but the weather was all clouded up and he went back home without seeing a star in the sky. That is so Japan.

I'm sorry...food in Peru, Bolivia and Chile are just awful. Not a single entree that I have been impressed. Maybe, I haven't gone to a Frommers-type restaurant these days -- still I'd imagine it's the same taste with a bit more flavor. It's loaded with carbs - pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan... it means bread. In addition, Peru, Bolivia and Chile are countries filled with overweight and unathletic people, period, INCLUDING the prettiest women. Not that there is anything wrong with this. Just a note...

Oh yeah, what primary colors they are! Bright colors are fooking everywhere in Chile! RED! BLUE! YELLOW! ORANGE! GREEN! BLUE! BLUE! BLUE! Great for photography! Im all smiles with my photos, I think, that is if you all like it! Grin! I better shaddup and move on to the next entry... Salud, me.

ahh - I put on my sleuthing cap and discover who you are! Welcome to Travelpod! :-) I am still unsure if I like this site. But it is a start for me. In truth, I am dying to get on iLife 06 with new perks when I get back to the states. :-)

Be well, me.
