We arrived back in Marsh Harbour on April 6th and Rosemary's brother Peter flew in on the 7th. On April 9th we sailed and anchored near Tiloo Cut. April 10th anchored Lynyard Cay with Jingles and Sea Mist and said our good byes with Sea Mist planning to leave for Chub Cay on their way back to Pensacola, Florida. April 11th mooring ball at Little Harbour. April 12th sailed close hauled all way the the back to Great Guana Cay and had two nights on a mooring ball. April 14th sailed close hauled to Hope Town and managed to tie up at the last available mooring ball. Watched a fantastic light show thunderstorm come through after dark. April 15th went to Man of War and picked up a mooring ball that we were then told was reserved but as the boat drew 6 feet and it was well after high water the boat yard guy who owned the mooring said it was unlikely the boat would show up. At 4am a very nasty thunderstorm came through and had us watching the mororboat moored too close by for comfort. Managed to get a new batten for the mainsail which we had lost at some time unknown. Left for Treasure Key and sailed on a beam reach all the way and anchored night of the 16th. Drinks at the bar and then barbecued chicken which nearly had Dave reaching for the fire extinguisher. Sailed back to Marsh Harbour on the 17th. Went to Curly Tails restaurant but had an altercation with a very weasly little Australian Maitre D' when we still did not have our meal after waiting two hours.

A great two weeks and no regrets that we did not push further south this time as the sailing has been relaxing and fun and we have had some good fun together in fine mostly warm weather with good winds. Today the 18th we took Peter to the airport and will sail in the morning keeping our fingers crossed that The Whale Passage is doable.

Intention is to sail for Fort Pierce stopping at Great Sayle Cay and probsbly West End, Grand Bahama as we will not bother trying to get to Florida before the next cold front. As ever the weather Gods rule or as Dave's mother says "man proposes and The Lord disposes".
