First things first,
I have arrived with all fingers and toes intact, luckily. The first few days in Leuven have been great. I've done a lot of wondering, sometimes getting lost and sometimes getting by on my own wits. The town is beautiful and I invite you all to come visit it (and me too). I am not yet fluent in dutch but I can say my street name with a pretty authentic accent; Tervuusestraat. That's right, I can spell it too. As far as my Belgium checklist goes I've drank some biers (beers for the English folkle), had a waffle and tried a fry. Unfortunately the fry was not up to snuff, however the company was delicious. Robin Wiviott arrived today by train from Maastriccchhhhtt!, The Netherlands. Since I've been here for 3 full days I was quite a competent tour guide. I pointed out the churches, the town hall and the boutiques. We prayed in the church but not to Jesus because, let's face it, we don't really need his help. We strolled hand in hand along the cobblestone streets and visited the botanical gardens. We are now at my house planning our conquest of Europe. We will keep you as informed as you need to be. No more, no less.

I miss you all!!!
Love,
Dara
