Breakfast at the Motel and we were in plenty of time for our shuttle bus to the airport. We had a good flight up with Les checking out where we were all the time, and wanting a map so he could see exactly what was below us. We should have been the other side of the plane, I will have to try for that on the way home! We had a clear day and Les says we flew over Bourke and Birdsville. The channel country looked great form the air, we flew across a lot of desert, but we were suprised how much water was out there. We made good time and arrived in Darwin at about 2.30pm.

Our motel room is big enough, with 2 Queen sized beds, just in case we want to sleep separately! We have had a look around and the pool area looks nice, and the water feels OK. We have been for a walk around town, and as it is Friday night it is busy. We walked around a park and down by the ocean, and will check out more tomorrow. We also went for a ride in a sort of rickshaw, with a girl peddling a bike and two of us in the back. We have spoke to some nice people and it is a friendly place. We have no plans for the weekend at this stage, and will just spend our time working out where everything is.

Sorry - Lisa tells me quite rightly that my comment doesn't make sense! Basically I meant to say Jason Donovan (from Neighbours) was one of the 'famous faces' from the TV show and Shirl made me laugh by saying she wanted to ask Jason how Kyle was doing. Mum was having a good day today, even after a night out watching the performance at the Open Cut out in the cold night. :) Having beaut time in Warren: Lisa cooked bacon wrapped chicken fillets - yum.
