Spent a great week Wwoofing at a beautiful little farm. Wwoofing (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) means you go and work about 4-6 hours a day on farms/properties in exchange for food and accommodation. We had a brilliant time, and learnt a lot about keping a small holding. Jess is now even more determined than ever to get horses,a couple of cows, alpacas, dogs, a sheep, goats etc etc ( the list is pretty much endless, much to Danny's growing oncern) when we eventually find a house.

The couple we stayed with were very interesting - Jane is a qualified vet who breeds and races greyhounds, and Geoff used to be a National Park Ranger and now runs courses teaching people how to safely handle poisonous snakes! He had a large collection of very deadly snakes that he showed to us, which was great although slightly scary when he put a death adder on the floor right by our feet!
