The drive up from Banff was spectacular The rain had stopped (for the most part). Lake Louise was breathtaking. The snow covered majestic peaks towering on both sides as we drove through Bow Pass (almost 2100 meters). Then drove down to the Columbia Icefields a hiked up to the Athabasca Glacier. That afternoon we stopped at Athabasca Falls on our way to Dawson Creek and the start of the AlCan Highway. Along the way there were Elk, Big Horn. Moose and others.
Off to Yukon.
