Where I stayed
Today, after a lovely sleep in we looked forward to checking out the local shops and taking a long walk along the promenade. We did both for majority of the day.
Seaside is definitely a tourist town, so proven by the fact it's more expensive than the other places we have found. We didn't get lured into buying any souviners except for an Uncle Sam metal poster telling us to ride a harley, purchased from the aptly named, The Man Store. Harleys are everywhere here so it seemed fitting to buy it.
Danny bought a fishing rod so he could go fishing at the little creek across the road from our hotel. I joined him and read my book in the sun while he fished, atching nothing but was happy as Larry
Found a premium outlet here with Nike and some other stores, but their sales weren't worth it. Nothing like the little sports store we found in Eureka - which I forgot to write about - with it's $20 Starter runners (yes that's Starter from our youth. Oh and it's $600 M-16 guns. Now that was a good sports shop.
Besides walk around there wasn't too much else here, but that's ok, tomorrow we head off for Vancouver which is a 6.5 hour drive, not including the stops offs we'll have through Washington as we pass Seattle and such. Can't wait.
