So this is the rough itinerary for my trip, the first few weeks are pretty much planned out but after mid-june it is up in the air, with the main goal being to be in San Diego before the fourth of July, here goes;

Mon May 28th: meet up with my Dad at my parents house in NH.
Tues May 29th: With my Dad, drive staight Washington DC.
Wed May 30th: Walk around DC, see Capitol Hill, The White House, CIA spy museum, WWII memorial...
Thurs May 31st: CHeck out Thomas Jefferson's Monticello (think the back of the nickel) before getting on to the Blue Ridge Parkway (really scenic road throught the Appalachian Mountains), camp  for the night.
Fri June 1st: Finish up the BRP and head into Alabama, camp for the night
Sat June 2nd: Arrive in New Orleans
Sun June 3rd: Drop my Dad off at the airport, check in with Habitat For Humanity to help rebuild houses that were wiped out by Hurricane Katrina, what can I say I'm a good guy ;)
Mon June 4th - Fri June 8th: sweat my ass off working for HFH in the Louisiana heat for the week
Fri June 8th - Mon June 11th: My roomates (well, former roomates now) Josh, Ernest and Dave fly in for what I am guessing will be a completely debaucherous weekend in the French Quarter of New Orleans
Mon June11th: Dave and Ernest fly back home, and me and Josh head down to Memphis and possibly Nashville for a few days, which leads up to...
Thurs June 14th - Sun June 17th: BONNAROO BABY! We'll be spending four days camping out at this massive music festival, I think this will definitely be a high light of the trip, you can read more about it at www.bonnaroo.com, it should be a pretty insane time
Mon June 18th - Tues June 19th: Represent red sox nation at Turner Field in Atlanta (we are trying to devise a sign to get ourselves on TV so keep your eyes peeled)
Wed June 20th - Tues July 2nd: After Atlanta things are pretty up in the air, some places that I'd like to hit are: Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, The Grand Canyon, Vegas and LA, but you will have to keep reading this blog to see how that works out
Wed July 4th:  Fourth of July in San Diego, which is supposed to be an incredible time, after that I am going to be focusing on finding a job doing graphic design and starting my life on the West Coast...

the bayou
sounds like a good schedule. I'm jealous you get to re-visit New Orleans again.
