Well here I am sitting on Mels couch tying up the very last few ends. I have the feeling that I have forgotten more than a few things, but that isn't especially a surprise knowing me, just hope they aren't too important! The last two days have been totally chaotic between getting together all of my stuff and trying to say bye to be people. Definitely procrastinated a bit too much, but again, not totally out of character for me.

So this is how my voyage to Bangkok is going to go, I am taking a 12:30 greyhound bus (not the the good ol fung wah thankfully) to Port Authority in NYC, and will be arriving at 4:50am, after what I am sure will be a less than comfortable night's sleep, and then I will be taking an hour long shuttle to JFK (hmmm maybe I should be figuring out where exactly that departs in rather than writing this right now...) and then I will sit around and wait for my flight at 11:00 am, I am hoping the 17 hours will fly by (no pun intended:) or at least that I will be able to sleep for the majority of it. After that I will be touching down in BKK, jet lagged and without a hotel reservation. Lack of perpararation seems to be a theme here, oh well thats half the fun right? Right? Well at any rate I'll do my best to put up a post soon after I get there...

Thanks for reading everybody, and thanks for all the well wishes!

When are we going to see movement on that map?
Here is hoping you made it to the airport. The laundry will be waiting for you when you get home - maybe clean, maybe dirty.

You should probably leave out the details
Your freaking us out with these comments about a lack of forethought, and your still in the states!!!

Oh boy your gotta love that ride, I hope you can sleep on a plane. The movies get old...fast, and if your stuck with a layover, buy as many paperback novels as you can, and throw them out when you land...otherwise your going to go insane. the Pacific is a BIG ocean.
