Hi everyone

Well thanks to Charles, we are now panicing at the thought of arriving in freezing cold New York. The highest temps are -1. Hopefully there will at least be some snow to give us a white christmas to enjoy.

Today we had a pretty lazy day mostly by the pool having drinks and food brought to us. Daniel took to the pool bar getting nicely liquored for the afternoon!

I enjoyed reading a book, dozing off listening to the sound of waves. We had our last Mexican meal tonight and it was probably the best fajitas we have ever had. The meat was just so succulent and marinated to perfection. Although I dont recommend ever eating their cactus here. It was served as a side to our dish. You have been warned!!

Daniel had some really good tequila. It was a sipping tequila and he describes it as being smooth  and full of flavour.

Just a short blog today, we have to dig out the winter clothes pack and get ready for our early flight to NY.

Love Ly and Daniel

p.s. will put more photos up soon

What a great job you are doing keeping us all interested in your travels and your meal by meal description. Your excursion from cancun sounds amazing, it is very hard travelling in a group, remember Europe Daniel!!!
Enjoy New York snow and all, sounds corny but make sure you have a ride in a horse drawn carriage in central park. Just a thought but I purchased ear muffs frrom a souvernier shop and they made such a huge difference.
Ly are you going to do the "sex in the City " tour? I am just so jealous, NY is my second favourite place in the world after Paris.
Take care enjoy the cold, it can be wonderful especially at this time of the year.
If you are interested we are having mash potato, king island steak, baby peas and carrots for dinner!!
Love to you both,

Hi guys! Sorry I've been off the air, but have been really busy with getting organised for helping the less fortunate with toys and food for Christmas from work. It will be the last year that I have to organise it, so it's a bit nostalgic! Dad and I are enjoying your travel writings, and sounds like you are having an ecclectic mix of experiences. New York in the snow is wonderful! (yes I have been there Aunty Pete, but it was years ago). Hope you make it there okay. Our love to you both and soak up all these fun times together. Love always, Anita

Yeah I saw all the snow drama on the news, and to think I've only ever seen snow once - if you could even call that snow that one time in Canberra.

Anyways onwards to Christmas, not long now so rug up and enjoy!
