On the 5th June we headed up to Mission Beach. Mission beach is made up of 4 settlements spend along about 20km of coast. We stayed at the 'Treehouse YHA' for 3 nights, which was situated in the rainforest. Not much to do as it was in the middle of nowhere & lack of our own transport so we mainly chilled & read our books.
Mission has a great stretch of beach, but unfortunately the weather wasn't to good here. We have noticed a complete change of scenery as we head north, as every town is surrounded by rainforest as far as you can see & the climate is a lot more tropical which unfortunately means more rain.
