Drive to Orleans and Chenonceaux.

This morning we will get our SUV rental and drive a couple hours to the city of Orleans... no doubt famous for being the forerunner of our own "New Orleans"... or maybe the Joan of Arc connection, who knows? We also plan on visiting the huge cathedral there.



Then we'll drive onto the city of Chenonceaux.








...and stay at the wonderfully charming Roseraie Hotel. We stayed here on our honeymoon and had a very good time.






Laurent and his wife Sophie run a very fine place, the food was incredible... the croissants were the best we've ever had, and he served the best dessert wine we've ever tasted in our lives.. the local Vouvray.
