While travelling to Peru from UK I made a day stopover in Mexico City. This is the most populated city in the world I'm told, with 30 million inhabitants. It's geographically really impressive as sits in an old dry lake bed, so is very flat, with huge mountains all around. Looks great flying in. Despite what I'd heard, I felt very safe there, and was impressed by how comfortable the place was. I stayed near Constitution Square in the centre. Here's some pics from a day of wandering around town.
