I spent a great couple of days staying in an amazing and cheap hotel in Flores. The entire town of Flores sits on a tiny island surrounded by a clear blue lake, and all the hotels are right on the water. First thing each morning, I would walk the ten feet from my hotel room to the dock and dive into the picturesque lake. It was amazing. And the room set me back about $6.
