I saw all Tegus had to offer in the two days I was there. So I headed north to San Pedro Sula. The town is remarkably unimpressive. And it's hot. Maybe one of the hottest places on the planet. I couldn't even stay in the museums becuase it was too hot to be indoors. The first museum I went it actually waited for me to pay, then was kind enought to turn on an oscillating floor fan.
I also met some guy on the bus that was terribly nice, but it turned out that he was so nice because he wanted to do unspeakable things to me. Here's a quick excerpt of a conversation I had in Spanish with this guy after we went out for drinks.
"Can I stay with you in your room tonight?"
"Uhhh, No."
So I didn't stay there long. Mostly because this guy new where I was staying and he frightened me. Also because the shower didn't work so they brought me a big bucket of water and a rag to bathe. Not the end of the world. But then they returned 2 minutes later to ask if I was done. Why? Because they only had one bucket and the other guests needed it. So I headed to the coast - Omoa.
