Tikal was amazing. Even after Copan, the Mayan ruins of Tikal are ridiculously impressive. I like Tikal even better actually. The city is huge, and you never forget that you're in the middle of the jungle. There are monkeys everywhere, giant leaf cutter ants, termite mounds the size of buicks, and all the other sights and sounds of a rain forest. And at night the jaguars still roam for prey. It's awesome and I loved it.
