Ok, so today I forgot to bring my camera, so only a couple of dodgey phone camera shots!

Woke up at the bright and early hour of 8 (ok that's early for me!!) for an 9 oclock tour to Universal Studio's!

On the bus ride there I met some fellow Aussies! An air hostess from Sydney was on the tour with her 12 yo daughter, who was interested in Science (yes I did tell her how electricity works- and she loved it!! haha). I hung out with them for the first bit of the day, so that was great to have some company!

There was so much to report on at the studio's so I won't bore you! However, I will talk about what I have taken shots of. The first is me and Marylin Monroe. Great....

The next is an the amazing view of the mountains in LA. I'm told this is a one in a hundred days that it is this clear, and that most people cant even see the far mountains due to smog.

One of the most interesting parts of the tour are photographed next. Here they showed us the sets they used and still use for movies and tv shows. for example I saw the lake at Gilligan's island, the crash site at war of the world (shown in photo's), New york, as seen in sienfield and man others. Also I saw hysteria lane from desperate housewives... (lol) and some other cool stuff.

Other attractions I found interesting was the mummy and Jurassic park ride, seeing how they do special effects, and the various 3D cinema rides they have (Shrek,  Terminator, Simpsons etc)

The next photo is of the biggest escalator system I have seen in my life!! Its goes down a mountain of at least 150m. Crazy! (you can't see all of it in the shot).

After universal I came back to my hotel and had dinner at sizzler. Another amazing food experience! For only US $11 I was able to get a steak + unlimited salad bar + drinks. CRAZY!! And even though my sizzler was small (not even as big as carindale) it had HEAPS more range of food then the Aussie ones.

After stuffing myself silly, I came back to my hotel, chilled, and I am about to go to bed for the full LA city tour tomorrow! This time I will not forget to bring my camera!

Missing everyone already! Wish you were all here to eat food with me!!
