We got to Lausanne. My cousin was there but we just missed him by a few hours. We got on a bus to Ouchy (the port). The view there was pretty but not as pretty as in Interlaken. Though it was cool being on Lake Geneva, which was huge! But this was not my kind of city. Everything there seemed really fake...almost like L.A. Very materialistic.

There was this guy there dancing to some country music, wearing a Scottish kilt. He was line dancing and had a thong on under the kilt and he turned a lot. It was hilarious. Basically we just spent a few hours there hanging and then went back to the station to catch our midnight train to Rome...and yes still feeling gross from hiking. We shared our couchette room with three other Asians...one of which was from Illinois! We talked for a bit and that was cool.
