March 4 - Today we went back to Aguada Beach and found lots of sea glass.  Played in the water and the waves.  We went back to the car, changed.  The women's washroom was open so I went in to change as a man came out.  I looked at the cleaners and pointed at the dames sign and then at me.  They shook their heads yes, it's for women.  I changed and then Len went to change and they told him to go into the women's,  They had already cleaned and locked the men's up and were in the process of doing the same for the women's.

We then explored the tree house.  We met two children who went in just before us.  They translated the first sign for us.  We were impressed, we thanked them.  Their Dad was there, he was talking on the phone while they translated.  I don't think he realized what a great job they did,

We enjoyed the tree house, it is built around this amazing Banyan tree.  It not only grows up, but drops vines down that end up becoming roots in the ground.

March 5 - This was an adventure day.  With the camera left at home.  We knew there was a beach somewhere just past Gate 5 and a divers shop.  Wow, what a very narrow road, on the side of the hill heading down to the valley below!  It was rough, bumpy, lumpy, narrow and lots of pot holes, actually the whole road was a pot hole.  As we went down around a corner we met a big Ford truck coming up.  He stopped and signaled for us to pass him.  I was very thankful we were on the inside.  There were several roads to turn off on, but we were lucky to have kept to the right and ended up close to the sand dunes and the ocean.

No one was here, for awhile, then we had a jogger come along and then two women passed us who had been further up the beach.  Not as secluded as we had thought.  It was a nice walk, not much sea glass.  This is the area below Rex and Ingrid's home, they told us several years back a construction company came in and removed all the sand dunes from this natural area and now it is all filled in with scrub plants that will grow anywhere.

No place for swimming or getting in the water as it is rocky along most of the water's edge.

In the afternoon we went down to Surfers Beach to watch the surfers having fun.  Today the waves were suppose to be high and they were.  I was talking with a chap who was about 6'2" or more and he said some of the waves were reaching at least one if not two more feet above his head.  He watched and watched and then decided it was time for him to go give it a try.  Len talked with a guy from California out here surfing.  Len said he was surprised and what about all the great surfing in California?  The guy told Len he was also here visiting his children as this is where their mom lives.

We were going to go out for a pizza, but I said let's go to the Italian restaurant Rejean and Richard told us about.  They are from Trois River, we just met them the other day after we moved back upstairs.  They say they will join us so we head on out after Rejean packs, he is off to San Juan tomorrow and back to Canada.  Richard has taken another couple of weeks off and leaves just before we do.  We all had a pasta dish, Len & I with shrimp.  It was very good.
