It has been two lazy days just sitting around the pool.
Out to our favourite restaurant for breakfast and more banana pancakes with chocolate sauce for breakfast. Back to sit by the pool and read, when we get hot Len usually takes a dip in the ocean and I in the pool.
Yesterday there was a fisherman who had put his net out from the shore and was bringing it in, Len graciously went and held the one end in place while he brought in the other end. We didn't get a cut in the catch though!
Len went down the street and bought the goodies for lunch, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers, bread and a mango for dessert. No meat stores around, so that is not even an option. The mango was just perfect. We borrow and knife and plate from the restaurant out front.
The afternoon is spent around the pool. We are lucky, we got a lounger yesterday. Today we had to start out on chairs and then when the younger group got tired of sitting in the sun burning, then left and we moved the lougers to the shade for the day.
My turn for lunch today, not much variance, except a different kind of cheese and green onions.
Tomorrow we are back on the bus and off to Ho Chi Min City for 4 days and then will bus it into Cambodia. Heard from Rebecca and Rob and they loved Cambodia and said to enjoy and stay there as it is a good feeling country.
