Czech ya'self!  We arrived in Prague Monday evening, found our hostel and set about finding the nearest grocery store to cook some dinner.  We just stayed in that evening, eventually sharing some beers with a few new found British friends.

Tuesday we started with the 'free tour' of Prague (free because you just tip your guides however much you want in the end).  It was very informative, especially since we didn't know very much about Czech history.  Surprise, surprise, the commies screwed them over too.  But our guide was very interesting and we had a great morning/early afternoon.  Then we headed across the Charles bridge to check out a beer store Dan had researched online.  Back across the bridge to find Wendy new shoes since her old ones were deteriorating at an alarming rate.  Turns out the new ones just cut up her feet instead.  Anyway we went back to the hostel for dinner, then out again for a pub crawl.  Started off with an hour and 45 minutes of unlimited beer and shots.  Obviously by the time we were leaving for the 2nd bar, we were pretty hammed. Had a really great night and miraculously found our way home at the end.

Wednesday we slept in (guess why!).  When we were ready we headed out to visit a building called the Dancing House (cool piece of modern architecture) and some rose gardens before wandering over to the Mucha Museum.  We didn't really know what he was all about but it turns out he made a lot of really sweet posters, particularly for Sarah Bernhardt.  The museum wasn't very big, but that meant we could easily see the whole thing which was nice.  Then we walked up to Wenceslas Square and back again to the Astronomical Clock to witness its hourly performance of dancing figurines and rotating apostles.  Stayed in that night to drink the beers from previous days' shopping while chilling with another British friend and watching a horrible movie (Reign of Fire).

Thursday just woke up and headed to the train station for our trip to Berlin!
