We are right next to the bay in San Francisco, so it has been very windy.
Overall, it has been fun in the campervan but I think that we are both looking forward to getting back into a hotel (with the prospect of a bath), and also not having to get up in the mornings to start driving.
The scenery has been beautiful, from the beaches at Malibu to the rolling hills that we have seen inland.
