By this point we were getting pretty fed up with bus journeys so we decided to break up the trip to Hoi An with a stop in Quy Nhon. Quy Nhon is apparently an up and coming beach destination and although the beach did look quite stunning it is advised that people don't swim in the sea - therefore the beach is deserted. Not much to do here really other than hire a motorbike and explore the area but as our budget doesn't stretch that far we spent the couple of days here chilling out at our hotel. Tourists are quite rare here and we saw only 2 other white people and seemed to be getting a lot of funny looks from the locals, but were pretty much used tot hat by now.

One thing we did read about and want to check out here is an old US Army tank which was abandoned and can only be seen when the tide is out. Just our luck though that it was moved 2 weeks before we arrived to go into a museum!

As there is not a lot to cater for tourists we had to eat in the 'local' restaurant and definitely got some funny looks in here!! The food was brilliant though, beef loc lac a local curry dish we think and some delicious ribs although we have decided we do prefer to eat without an audience!!

Overall a very peaceful stay, and unfortunately as out battery in our camera (yes the new camera) was broken we didn't get to take any photos!
