Well these islands are bloody awesome! Have been here 4 nights now. First 3 we stayed in Bocas town in a nice hotel for $7.50 a night, Really good price. only bad part was it was run by really grumpy chinese people who owned the supermarket below as well! Spent a lazy 3 days there. Did a one day trip and saw soem dolphins, went snorkling and then went and chilled out on a desterted island with a beach like you think the Caribbean should have! All white sand, driftwood, crabs and coconuts! Was awesome!

Left there yesterday and took a boat over to the island Bastimentos nearby where all the houses are rickety clampboard structures, most over the water on stilts. Proper Caribbean town, everyone is black. Staying in a rickety hostel, kinda ramshackle place but very cool.

Yesterday we went for a walk to the nearby beach called wizard beach. The trek there was an epic stugle which meant abbandonment of flip flops and struggling and sliding and slithering through the mud on the trail all the way there! Was definatly worth the 45 mins walk though, could have been straight out of lost the beach, was perfect! We were told we wouldn't want to leave and we didn't with the prospect of slipping thjrough the jungle again!

Today we went for a walk to a place called 'up in the hill', which was surprisingly....up a hill! past the police station, school and church! Was a little walk but well worth it. It was a shop up there, well not really a shop kinda a bookshelf that got wheeled iut by the scottish lady who owns the farm with her argentinian husband. They sell like natural oils and balms and jewelry and stuff like that. Had the best chocolate brownie ever and some guanabana juice! And just chilled out up there on their deck. Saw some red frogs....pretty cool! Theres a beach named red frog just down from where we went yesterday!

Came back and got asked by the rasta dude if we wanted to eat, so he took us to this resteraunt called red rooster and I had some chicken wings whilst being regaefied by his classic bob marley repetoire. His name was johnson and he had a gold tooth, quite a cool guy!

Anyway we have to leave tomorrow as wel only have one week  left and want to go to a village in a volcano crater before Panama city, is sad to leave this sweet island!!!
