Phil took the kids over to Dutch Wonderland in the morning. They walked back to camp and I fed them lunch. Then I took them back for the water park part. Phil stayed at camp and worked (a little bit, finally!) and met us later.
It's funny how this trip has touched us in ways we didn't expect. We've met two families here that were just extraordinary humans!!! We got to know the Coopers, from New Jersey, who had five adopted children. Abigail and Sean got to be fast friends, with Katrina and Ben especially.
We took them with us at the water park for the afternoon. The kids watched a movie in their trailer until nearly midnight and us adults stayed up talking. Wonderful kids! We plan to keep in touch with them. Maybe they can visit us if they ever get to Calilfornia. [Orlene, I owe you a big hug goodbye! ]
