Stillman Living Statues in Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace, one of only very few 7-star hotels in the world. I was honoured to be part of this highly exclusive event. A fashion parade presenting the cream of Milan's fashion industry announced the arrival of Milan as a new direct destination from Abu Dhabi with one of the world's most modern and, in my opinion, best airlines.

It was my dream gig. We were painting ourselves in one of the world's most exclusive locations, sharing a backstage with 20-30 beautiful models, the organisers were completely confident and relaxed and during the event the music was a wonderful mix of chilled club, fine Italian opera and classical music - a wonderful time and place to be a living statue.

We were unfortunately so caught up in make-up and finding a shower afterwards in the vastness of the hotel that we missed a top class buffet, and I also had to leave straight away for a stilt-walking and fire performance on the next evening in Wels, Austria. However, it somehow didn't matter at all as I was left with a great feeling after performing at such an fine event and classy location.
