We got home for our week of relaxation and getting ready for our next event. On Sunday, we had the Ramseys over for dinner and swimming. On Monday, we celebrated the 4th with a BBQ at the Ramsey's. On Wed, we left for Raleigh for Alexa's horse show. It was very hot and a lot of work. We stayed up until midnight braiding and cleaning the horses. We stayed at the Ramada In.. Then we got up the next day for the show. Alexa had 2 classes and we were very proud of her performance. No ribbons, but there were a lot of poeple there and she was nervous because of her fall off Marecee 2 weeks prior. She got up the nerve to canter when requested. We got home on Thurs nigth after stopping at the Cracker Barrell..yum! Over the weekend we prepared for our trip to Italy.
