At the insistence of several friends and family members, I am going to do my very best to keep an updated blog on our big cross country trip. Dad and I will be leaving tomorrow from Fall City, but today really marks the beginning of the trip for me as I'll be leaving tonight so we can get an early start together tomorrow morning. Before you start to worry about the two of us navigating all the way from Washington to Virginia, rest assured that Zack has mapped out our suggested route! Between that and the iPhone (and our combined directional prowess!), we will hopefully make it to Virginia and back in three weeks with plenty of time in between days of driving to hang out with the VA Harris/Tiller/etc clan.
I will keep this first post short--it is hard to find motivation to write about traveling when I'm sitting on my couch in front of a warm fire! Tomorrow the adventure begins...
