Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia - seat of the Supreme Court. Itīs around three three hours by bus from Potosi. We had to go to Sucre in order to fly to La Paz due to strikes which led to road blocks; glad we saw it now. Checked into Veracruz hostel and went for dinner to a place called El German. The food was good and it was dark by the time we were done. Michael and i headed off for a walk around the city. Itīs very different to Potosi. People dress differently - less traditionally. All the teenagers converged in the main square that night which created a good atmosphere. We headed back to the Hostel which is up there as one of the worst weīve stayed in in South America. We were told a blockade was due to start the next day and that Taxi drivers were joining the strike. So we booked a cab for 6.30am to ensure we got to the airport for our 11.30am flight. We spent the morning at the airport playing cards. Warning: The breakfast at Sucre Airport is not good.
