Today we went to Bonn, a city south of Koln. We went there primarily to visit a museum focusing on German history post WWII. It was a very interesting, and a good quality museum. They had a replica of a post WWII German hovel (apartment), sections of the Berlin wall, a section of the first German Parliament, it was great. Afterwards, we just walked around the city for a few hours. Bonn was actually Germany's capital during its occupation; you'd never guess it. This is definitely not a city that screams capital. It was beautiful though; much more vegetation than Koln. We also saw Beethoven's birth house; which is a really big deal in Germany. I didn't do much after class today, just some homework and bike riding.
