New Zealand I hear you thinking (very sensitive ears).  Yes.  New Zealand.  How the hel! does one get from Fiji to NZ?  Well, other then flying, which would be the usual mode of transport, may I reccomend the Fijian game fishing expidition.  The one where you run out of petrol in the middle of the ocean.  You know something's not quite right when the engine conks out, Captain Ahab (name changed to protect his identity) starts poking around inside the boat and is heard to utter "oh sh!t"...  Well, to cut a loooooong story short (this story involves no radio or compass.  They haven't got them in Fiji yet, aparently), we made it to dry land.  Not sure how close we got to NZ.  Got towed to Vomo Island (a stay there will only cost you $1500 a night) and eventually made it back to civilisation.  Saw some famous rugby player too.  Yes, him.  That's the one. With the dreads.  Plays for Australia or something.  No, he's not the one who towed us back to land.  Might tell you the rest of the story some night.  Even the anchor incident (same boat, same Captain Ahab, required a second towing). Turned out to be a good experience overall, even though we didn't catch any fish.

Other then that all's well.  Resting in Nandi tonight (mainland {haha} Fiji) before heading out to thelasttropicalisland.  Along the way I've proven that I'm inept at water skiing and walking on hot concrete, while enjoying the odd dive and bruising other tourists with my high speed water antics.  Hope all's well at all of your respective ends!  Have a merry new year and a happy christmas, may your children multiply and come to fill the earth, and may your hangover not be too bad on Saturday.

Love and kisses,

Justin

PS: Sorry it's taken soo long for the latest update but the fijian in charge of smoke signals dozed off (must be related to Cap'n Ahab) and the fire went out.  Only just got it started again by rubbing coconuts together just now.
