Asaf my roommate I met for the first time yesturday, and I went surfing together and he said he would teach me. I was supper pumped! I rented a board we went sufing in Playa Tamarino. I desided not to go with the 10 ft. board because of the old man feel and went with an 8 ft. This only made things harder haha.
Surfing is a real science, and I had to really try and try and try again to put all the pieces together.
I know have most of the key peices together, I have gotten on a WAVE haha
Not an easy process.
The first time with Asaf I tried and tried and got up on one wave for .3 seconds.
That .3 seconds got me hooked lol.
Today we (group of hostel mates) went To Playa Grande because it has clean water. It is a one hour walk along the beach and you have to paddle across the rivers mouth... Which has crocadiles lol.
There I pulled a memorable 2.7 secs 3 secs and 4 secs. So Awsome! the 4 was the one I was waiting on, and finally I got it,.. very memorable.
I have to make a seperate point here that while surfing... The water is so warm! and the sun does down beuatifully while surfing later. You can see though wave´s peaks, The sky is a light blue and the vegitationªbeach is amazing to look at while waiting for a wave.
The people here are great and I never really feel alone. Everyone is friends here.. at the apnosfireªª here is very chill and nice.
I think I will definatly stay here for a while if not the whole trip.. I am contemplating other places to go.. but this place is really nice.
