After a disastrous night's sleep (Used to a king size bed, sleeping in a double), we decide that we will ditch the "cute li’ll loft" and sleep in the queen size bed down stairs from now on. We decide to get up and go down to our patio.  I open the doors and discover that there are two whopping big cruise ships in front of us and a third on its way in.  There goes the neighbourhood.  Guess what we will be doing today?  Absolutely nothing, as when you calculate the passengers on three cruise ships in this town, we don’t want a bar of it.  Not that that will be tragic to our holiday plans, as doing nothing is very appealing at this stage of the trip.

Before long our phone rings and its reception telling us that our breakfast will arrive on our balcony in 5 minutes.  They read my mind, as coffee is definitely required.  Before we know it a huge tray of eggs, breads, cakes, cereals, Greek yoghurt with honey etc has been delivered onto our patio.  We sit and watch the entire goings on with the cruise ships, whilst we greet the day with this delicious breakfast

Now from here it is a tough decision, do we shower yet or not?  Before we know it is about 11am and the other Aussie couple walk past and stop for a chat.  A couple of hours later they leave and we get dressed (been wearing a sarong & drew in yesterdays stuff).  I then head into town (at the top of our stairs) and find the supermarket.  Today’s lunch consists of salami, bread, cheese, tsatziki and liverwurst.  A bottle of wine and we are set.  Next a bag of Santorini pistachios and more wine.  Some book reading and that pretty much sums up our day.  The cruise ships finally pull out at around 3 pm.  We then have the all clear to head back into town.

Ok now reception have just rung us to ask for the modem back for the internet.  It appears they have a shortage and even though I explained that the reason I booked this hotel was due to the internet use and requiring it so we could maintain our business, I feel we may be pressured to hand it back when we go out and I can't guarantee if we will see it again.  So I will upload what I have for the day and keep my fingers crossed that we will get some further internet use whilst here.  If not, thanks for following my blog.
