Another Moving Day

Today our little  convoy left Las Vegas via I-15 North. and once past the usual city traffic, it was a nice and pleasant drive through the short section of Nevada; then clipping a small piece of Arizona,  and then immediately into St. George, Utah.  A 140 miles tops.  Great trip, plus I'm glad to be away from Las Vegas.

The only thing that occurred of note was Doug and Pat's tow car had its left and right turn signals crossed and opposite from their coach.  So every time he wanted to move over to the left lane, his right signal would blink, and so on.  Now they just had the connection system changed in Las Vegas to prevent their tow car being electrically drained every time it was towed.  The repair man fixed that but managed to also cross the wires.  It happens.  But Friday, the three of us have to go into St. George to get it fixed.  I hope this is the last drama of its kind.

We stopped at a real nice RV Park just north of St. George and just south of a little town called Leeds next to  I-15.  After taking care of the hook ups, we drove a quarter of a mile  to an absolutely  wonderful little state park called Red Cliffs.  Its really small.  Not nearly as big as Valley of Fire in Nevada, but it was just as beautiful.  I wished we could have seen some wildlife, but it was still mid-afternoon and way too hot for the critters to be out and about.  Almost nobody was there, and I have the feeling it is a much under-appreciated park.

Tomorrow, Sinai National Park!
