Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. We were too tired to do an excursion. So we walked from the ship, intending to go into town.
Here's the view we had leaving
and returning.
We walked about 15 minutes. Everything was closed because it was Sunday. It wasn't very pretty. And we had to pee. So we headed back to the ship.
It turns out we maybe should have taken the shuttle bus, which drove for about 30 minutes thru the landscape, into a different town which was reportedly very pretty. And not shut down, I guess. This report was from Lollie and Carl.
This was the last port before we head across the Atlantic Ocean! Thank goodness for that, because I'm really, really tired, and looking forward to resting all the way home.

What a shame you missed out on a proper tour of Tenerife. It is an amazing Island but you really need be spend more time here to appreciate how wonderful it is. I have lived in Tenerife for 6 years now and I am still discovering new sights.
