For the past couple of days I have been in Phuket. This town is a very touristy town on the Andaman Coast and is the hub town for Phi Phi and Krabi islands. It is notoriously known for how many prostitutes there are. Almost every older gentleman is with a younger Thai girl. I saw 80 year olds with 20 year old girls. Fucking crazy. I was told that this is were the greatest number of prostitutes in all of Thailand. Based on what I have seen it is definitely true. At every bar and corner you hear “Welcoooooome” or “Maaaaasage”. I didn’t pull the trigger with any of them but I sure did have a good time talking to them. Being in sales myself I enjoyed listening to their sales pitches. Different techniques such as; trying to get in front of you to prevent you from passing , smacking your ass with a soft bat, or luring you in with a nail and hammer game If you got the nail in with one hit you got a free drink. If you didn’t you had to buy a drink. The advantage for them was that the hammer was very thin so it was very difficult to do. The girls at the bars are trying to get you to come in and buy and drink and the girls on the corner are trying to give you a special massage or of course a special night. Don’t get me wrong , they are all whores. My Brazilian buddy said if you want the girls from the bars just skip buying a drink that cost 4 times as much and just pay the bar fee and pay for the girl and leave with her. I asked him how much and he said the bar fee is about $10 and the girl is about $20. He said the street girls are cheaper and the massage of course is even cheaper. I spent more on drinks than I would have on girls. So if fucking prostitutes is your thing than head to Phuket.
