I am sad to announce that my mission was aborted. I had this great idea of walking across Liechtenstein, one of the world´s smallest countries. It measures only an average of 6km from East to West. I estimated that it would take me less than 3 hours to follow Route 16 from Austria to Switzerland. But due to bad weather conditions, lack of motivation, and a desire to be in a more familiar environment, I changed my mind at the last minute. The train passed through Liechtenstein. With only 32,000 inhabitants, it resembled a quiet town rather than a country.

Seven hours and six trains later, I arrive in Interlaken.
