We drove out of Salta to Jujuy and on up into the Andes through Purmamarca. The scenery was fantastic.It took your breath away both figuratively and literally - we were both feeling the effects of the altitude by the time we reached the highest point in the mountains. We ended up on a huge salt flat that blinded you it was so white.
Back in Salta on a humid and hot evening, it was all we could do but have steak and wine and get to bed.
