Today was a very lazy day, 1st a sleep-in, then a late breakfast outside on the terrace, what a terrible life!

Then down to the pool where Olivia and Sara spent most of the day.

They had seen their 1st snake the evening before when we all went down for a swim to find a 1 metre long brown grass snake sunning itself on the terrace wall by the steps leading down to the pool.

It very casually disappeared over the terrace wall and we all saw it disappearing into a hole in the wall.

They saw their second snake today in the garden near the pool and according to Francis the owner they like it there because of the water and heat from the rocks, but he was concerned as his grandchildren are arriving on Monday and he thought the snakes had gone as he hadn't seen them.

The pool is lovely but we had to laugh as it has an electric fence around it to keep the wild pigs out!

It is a 15 m long pool and 2m deep so lots of room to play, splash jump and dive.

In fact the girls have got very good at their diving.

The pool runs through a heat pump which keeps it at a very comfortable 28 degrees, and has an electric cover you just turn a key to close at night, along with an automatic vacuum which would be great in the Cust pool!

It was a lovely day to sit and blob, just what we needed after all the time on the road and the girls slept well that night.

Francis invited Greg to watch rugby, England vs Barbarians which the Baabaas won much to his disgust as he is an Englishman.......guess who I was cheering for!
