This little Stae Park has quickly become a huge bonus to us staying in St George, as it's just a mile or 2 up the road from us. It's a little state park, full of huge red sandstone cliffs, and black volcanic lava flows. There's loads of little trails, and red sandstone mounds to climb. We climbed up Lower Galoot Hill one evening at sunset, and it was so good we went back another night and climbed up Upper Galooot Hill! We also did a little walk to a hidden slot canyon called Jenny's canyon, which was awesome. I ,ove slot canyons! I climbed up Jenny's Overlook, and spent a peaceful 15 minutes laying upside down on a rock, looking up at the blue sky, and watching eagles saoar above me. It was so peaceful. Bliss! They could have left me there.
I will be back to my rock at Jenny's Overlook, I promise!
