Where I stayed
I left Moab, and drove a few hours to Durango, Colorado, which is a cool little college town tucked away in the mountains. I liked it right away. I found a great hostel, the Durango Hometown Hostel, and really enjoyed hanging out there. At this point, it was nice to take a break and just read and relax, rather than push to take hikes or extensively explore.
I wrote another blackjack solver program, just for fun.
A young guy at the hostel discovered that he lost his phone at 3 in the morning, and was going to take off on the bus the next morning. He asked me if I would give him a ride to where he thought he left his phone, in exchange for $20. I drove him to the mall, and he actually found his phone on the ground! I made him keep his $20.
Did some shopping, and bought a new pair of jeans. While hiking at Arches, my old ones split open. :)
I witnessed a war protest in town, which was fun to observe.
