So today we got up early as we had this bus trip on schedule on the Windsor - Stonehenge - Oxford route.
We were supposed to take off from Victoria station and of course I got big-headed and drove our humble team on the wrong track. But we figured it out eventually and found the station, and the correct platform as well. Our bus driver was a very kind person who told us various tales about English history during the 45-minute trip to Windsor Castle, the Royal Residence. The Queen wasn't there however because she was spending her vacation. What can I tell, the Castle, as well the city of Windsor is magnificent, everything is very clean, very sound, but of course this should seem normal, as this the Commonwealth's monarch's estate we are talking about.
However to me it seemed to have a penitentiary-like feeling, due to the large and heavy stone walls.
