This morning started like like most every other morning, but then about 9:30 the wind started up and here came the cold front! Not so much of a cold front in that the temperature did not drop significantly, but the clouds rolled in again and it spit rain off and on for most of the morning.

Our plan was to golf this morning and then relax this afternoon, but with the clouds and spitting rain, welllll.............

So we decided not to golf and did some sight seeing instead. We went to the Frontier Times Museum. It is a museum established in 1933 by Marvin Hunter. He started collecting things from all over the world. There are oddities like a dressed flea, two faced baby sheep, a wooden pillow which belonged to a Chinese lady (gave me a headache just to look at it) and a collection of oriental bells. There is also a Hall of Fame for rodeo cowboys. It is kind do a neat place and has some interesting stuff.

After the museum we drove out to the golf course and decided to participate after all. The clouds were scattering and the rain had stopped spitting so thought we'd give it a try. Well, what a hoot. The wind was still blowing so we will blame it on the wind. The most comical hole was #7. This hole had the water trap from hell. Bob lost three balls in the water, I only lost one, but only because I refused to try more than once. It actually was a very short hole, but the water trap made it very long. We had fun and then rewarded ourselves with ice cream at Diary Queen.

Tonight the group went to a place called 11th Street Cowboy Bar. On Wednesday's they have a band for dancing and you bring a meat to grill for your dinner. They sell a baked potato and salad to go with your grilled meat. Robin and Rodney had come out for Bob to help with Shari's resume' so they went to dinner with us. It was fun and the group was trying to convince them to get an RV and join us. Think we could talk the other two into doing the same? We could make it a family affair!

So now we're trying to stay warm, Bob is in his usual after dinner position and I'm writing this while watching Modern Family. Tomorrow night is the official start of the rally and there are supposed to be about 30 coaches in attendance.
