So summer here in London has not been much different than we had feared. Days are very long with light lasting well past 9pm. Though I am sure it would be light much longer if not for all of the clouds. There hasn't been a ton of rain, but while New York has been up to 98, we celebrate 70 and sun. One of those celebrations included taking a historic pub crawl through central London, picnicing in Wimbledon Park and dining alfresco whenever possible.

All is going well though. We have settled into our apartment and I have settled into my hour commute - how I miss the 10 minute walk through the village... But my job is great - long hours and crazy days with more meetings in a week than I am used to experiencing in 4 months but it has been very rewarding and I imagine will prove to be a terrific career move.

T just finished her big annual show and it went much better than expected. With the economy down she was worried about how it would go and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. T's job will be taking her to Frankfurt in July, back to New York in August and Paris in September so she can't complaign too much about having to spend a week in Harrogate (middle of nowhere up North) in July.

Next stop... Malta as the winner of Decision 2008. We are looking forward to sun, sand and history in the middle of the Med. To be continued...
